Rummage in the Tower

The Imperial Dove Court de Fresno/Madera, Inc. Presents
Rummage in the Tower
You are cordially invited to participate in the first community rummage sale hosted by The Imperial Dove Court de Fresno/Madera Inc. (IDC). The IDC is hoping to make this an annual event, allowing all of the GLBTQI
organizations/clubs an opportunity to raise money for their respective organizations/clubs. Not only will this allow you to raise some money for your organization/club but will also give us an avenue to unite all of the
organizations/clubs in the Fresno community. It is the hope of the IDC that this will be a small move in the direction of bringing all of the communities/ organizations/clubs together, working together and showing a united community.

When:    Saturday, May 7, 2005, 8:00AM to 2:00PM
Where:   Blockbuster parking lot on Olive Avenue (in the Tower District)
Cost:    $25.00 per space (a space will be approximately 15’X16′)

You may purchase as many spaces as you want, however spaces are limited and will be assigned on a first come basis. So if you are interested in participating I suggest you get your space payment in as soon as possible.

Any dub or organization that wants to sell food items must secure their own permits from the city.

The IDC will assume all costs for advertising this event, with the Fresno Bee, Community Link, posters and flyers. We have secured what we believe tote a prime space for the rummage sale. The IDC will also be providing some
on street "advertising" to help bring in people driving by or walking in the Tower District. We also believe, based on our past experience, that organizations can earn significant money selling donated item from their members or clients.

We hope that you will join us on Saturday May 7"’, not only to raise money for your dub or organization but to show a united GLBTQI community. We estimate that there will be 15 to 20 sellers which will help to draw a
crowd, beyond the advertising the IDC will be providing. This will also be an opportunity to share information about your club or organization with everyone attending, so bring flyers or other information about your
organization. You may also want to consider a "donation jar if you’re a 501 (c)(3) organization.

If you need any more information please feel free to contact me at 237-5898. I hope that this will be an event that all organizations participate in and that it proves to be a fun and profitable venture for everyone.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter
