Journey to Justice – Bus and Rally info

BUS INFO:

We have not met our 47 seat limit, so if you are thinking about doing this – please, help us represent the Valley and help us show the numbers of the marginalized (feel guilty yet 🙂

So, if you want to take the bus……

When:  Show up between 7:30-7:45am tomorrow (Sunday, November 9) – if you have not yet confirmed that you are riding on the bus, feel free to come, but first priority will be given to those who have emailed me in advance – we should have room for ALL (so, don’t use this as an excuse not to show up 🙂  (feel more guilty yet?)

Cost:  $22 (but, don’t let cost stop you from coming)  pay what you can and I will help find donations to make up the difference of what we have paid for the charter – bottom line, I would much rather pay for the seats than, have a half empty bus (more guilty yet? 🙂

Where:  Wesley United Methodist Church (where we had the candlelight vigil on Thursday night) – park in the far back parking lot and the bus will meet you there – 1343 East Barstow. You will be home between 7-8pm and you can leave your car in the church parking lot.

RALLY INFO:The "Rally at the Capitol" will happen on the West side of the Capitol

Bring signs, water, whatever you need to have a good day.Rally will run from 1-4pm.

We have a group of 30 people from the Fresno/Visalia area right now in Sacramento and there is lots of energy for this Rally. If you arrive before 1130am – meet us all at Hard Rock Cafe in Downtown Sacramento – (916) 441-559-1545  Downtown Plz – we will have the place nearly to ourselves and we can have some connecting time before we head to the Rally. After the Rally is over – we will follow the bus out of Sac-Town and head back towards Fresno – stopping at a fast food place on the route home. Feel free to bring snacks, drinks, etc – and, there is a DVD or VHS on board for watching movies. Travel Safe and Look for signs that say – Fresno’s Journey to Justice or carry my cell number. See you tomorrow!!! Robin  559-287-9670
