Fresno is an area of amazing LGBTQ+ diversity, yet often this diversity is overlooked or not given equal access to resources. This panel is meant to be an engaging conversation between community members, organizers, and activists addressing the intersections of race, income, sexuality, immigration, and gender for Hmong, East Asian, Black, and Latine/x queer communities in Fresno. Panelists include Alex Sanchez (Barrios Unidos), Shai Chang (Queer Hmong Intersectional Pride), Alexandria Benn (Poet & Community Outreach Coordinator), and Diana Feliz Olivia (Community Interventionist, Centerforce).
This panel is a recognition of Fresno’s important LGBT+ diversity and the need to address intersectionality.
