The History & Legacy of the Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade
Join us for a panel with organizers and activists involved in Fresno’s Rainbow Pride Parade.
Free and open to the public!
Refreshments will be available
Fresno’s Rainbow Pride Parade celebrated its 32nd pride parade this past June. Founded by a group of dedicated community members in 1990, the Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade has served as a fearless and proud rallying point for Fresno’s LGBTQ2+ community.
Always a community and volunteer-led event, year after year, Jeffery Robinson and the Rainbow Pride Committee volunteered their time and energy putting on the Rainbow Pride Parade.
This past winter our community lost Jeffery, but his legacy continues to shine brightly through the Rainbow Pride Committee. The 32nd Rainbow Pride Parade was the largest ever with over 10,000 people in attendance!
This panel is in recognition of the history of the Rainbow Pride Parade and its continued legacy in Fresno.
